Elin Steele | Set & Costume Designer
Elin grew up in Anglesey and is fluent Welsh speaker. She graduated from Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with a 1st Class (Hons).
Elin has recently been announced as Associate Set & Costume Designer for Matthew Bourne's New Adventures. She next works on their 2019 UK Tour of Romeo & Juliet. Other upcoming work includes Set & Costume Design for Woof (Sherman Theatre) and Costume Design for Dextera (Scottish Ballet).
Recent design credits include The Hound Of The Baskervilles (Barn Theatre, Cirencester).
Set & Costume Design credits whilst training include: Intimate Apparel (RWCMD: Caird Theatre, dir. Ola Ince), Why Are People Clapping (Alternative Routes with National Dance Company Wales, choreographed by Ed Myhill)
As Costume Assistant: Street Scene (RWCMD: Sherman Theatre, dir. Martin Constantine), The Last Days Of Judas Iscariot (RWCMD: Richard Burton Theatre, dir. Michael Fentiman), Larger Than Life (RWCMD: Shirley Bassey Studio, dir. Paul David), Two Gentlemen Of Verona (RWCMD: Richard Burton Theatre, dir. Caroline Byrne). Elin has costume making experience at the Royal Opera House and Thurrock Centre.
