Jeremiah was born in Rochester, NY, and attended the prestigious Hamilton Academy of Music in West LA. He has since been in constant demand both nationally and internationally, and has over 120 professional theatre credits to his name. Jeremiah was one of the youngest performers ever to be nominated for a Los Angeles Theater Ovation award for Best Lead Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of Bobby Child in Crazy for You, a role he repeated in several subsequent productions. That same year, he earned critical acclaim for his performance as George Gibb in the Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum production of Our Town.
Jeremiah premiered the new Disney musical review The Golden Mickeys which was directed by Tony award-nominated director Diana Paulus, and is now performed all over the world. After his success with Disney, Jeremiah earned critical acclaim throughout the United States for his performance as Curly in the Broadway/London 1st National Tour of the Trevor Nunn/Cameron Mackintosh revival of Oklahoma!
His performance in Oklahoma! caught the eye of one of the UK’s most influential entertainment impresarios: Jonathan Shalit. As a result, Jeremiah was asked to be a part of Theatreland’s first supergroup: Teatro. Their self-titled debut album is the latest collaborative recording venture by Sony/BMG and Jonathan Shalit. Accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the album went Gold in the UK less than a month after its release, making Teatro one of the fastest-selling theatre groups of all time. Teatro's album has since been released around the world, going number one in the classical charts in South Africa and number six on the pop charts. It is now well on its way to Platinum status in Belgium.
Shortly after Teatro achieved international stardom, Jeremiah was asked to play Billy Bigelow (arguably one of the best roles in musical theatre) in the New West End revival of Roger and Hammerstein’s Carousel, Directed by Lindsey Posner. This role earned Jeremiah enormous critical claim throughout the UK and was concurrent with the successful release of his debut solo album.
Jeremiah recently assumed the role of Woody in the revival of Finian's Rainbow at The Irish Repertory Theatre to great critical acclaim.
Coming up next, Jeremiah will be starring in two readings directed by Michael Busch - The Countess of Storyville and The Piper.
